I do not believe adultery should be criminalized. I believe criminalizing adultery would NOT be a deterrent to adultery, but rather a deterrent to marriage. More couples would simply choose to not marry. We do not want government to be involved with the sacred gift of the conjugal act. If we want to see the decline of adultery and an increase in the value and appreciation of marriage and children, we need to bring contraception to an end. We also need to be better preparing engaged couples (or even better - pre-engaged couples) to understand the vocation of marriage and the marital act (Theology of the Body). Thank You!
